Kimball Brienza has been with The Indigo Road Hospitality Group since its founding in 2009, starting as a server at Oak Charleston. His passion for the industry and dedication to creating memorable guest experiences continue to shape his career in hospitality.
Kimball has been instrumental in the growth of O-Ku, an original concept launched by The Indigo Road in 2010. His commitment helped expand O-Ku from a single restaurant in Charleston, South Carolina, to multiple locations across the Southeast.
O-Ku has earned numerous accolades, including a “Best of the Best” from Charlotte Magazine and recognition among Gwyneth Paltrow’s favorite Nashville restaurants. In January 2024, Kimball and The Indigo Road founder Steve Palmer were named Outstanding Restaurateur semifinalists by the James Beard Foundation for O-Ku Charleston.
Kimball takes a holistic approach to hospitality, blending culinary expertise, interpersonal skills, and a deep focus on culture. He is dedicated to mentoring and developing his team, ensuring that the O-Ku experience extends beyond the restaurant to the communities it serves.
