Originally from Plymouth, Massachusetts, Josh Begley’s culinary journey began at the Culinary Institute of America, followed by time cooking in some of Boston’s top kitchens. Drawn to the Lowcountry, he moved to Charleston and joined The Indigo Road team, first at O-Ku before shifting to Indaco Charleston—where his passion for Italian cuisine took center stage.
That passion has continued to grow, leading to the opening of Indaco Greenville, The Indigo Road’s first restaurant in the city. The restaurant quickly became a fixture in the Upstate’s evolving dining scene, reflecting Josh’s commitment to ingredient-driven Italian cooking and a thoughtful, welcoming guest experience.
Outside of the kitchen, Josh is an avid runner and cyclist. At home, he spends his time with his wife and children, often playing soccer or exploring the outdoors together.
