Since I began my tenure with The Indigo Road, I have always felt supported by my leaders, like the company has always had my back. Though never more so than when I applied for the Home Loan Assistance Program and received funds that I was able to use towards the down payment on my first home. Indigo Road helped make my dream and goal of home-ownership a reality, and I could not be more grateful.
Hospitality starts from within. I’ve always believed that to be successful in this industry, we have to care for our team. IRHG surely has proven that we, the employees, are the most important element. Having summer break and winter break are unheard of, and it is surely show how much our company cares. It has been a great pleasure and honor to be apart of the amazing growth. Looking forward for many more years to come.
At The Indigo Road, it doesn’t feel like work because you are surrounded by friends and (what has become) family. It’s refreshing to know that when I come to work, it’s like an escape from life’s stresses because making people happy is a gift for me, that’s why I love what I do.

After spending the last decade with this company, I’ve learned a lot about the power of communication and teamwork. There are so many mentors who are willing to teach you everything they know and build you up in every possible way. I’m so grateful for all the wisdom and love my coworkers, friends, have shared with me along the way.
At The Indigo Road, internal growth is a major part of the company. I started with the company as a pastry cook and moved my way up to pastry chef, pastry chef of NC hotels and restaurants, and then to my current position, Culinary Director of Pastry. As long as you’re ambitious, constantly learning to better yourself, and live by our core values, the opportunities for growth are endless.
